Bathroom Remodel with Comfort Height Toilet and Multiple Showerheads
This customer had a huge whirlpool tub with a very large step to enter it that they wanted to remodel for accessibility purposes. Our team gave them a great final product!
PROJECT DETAILS:
Our Goal
This customer wanted to remodel their existing bathroom into something that was more modern and accessible for them. Being snowbirds, this customer met with us before they left for Florida for the winter. Our goal was to stay in communication with them while they were gone and to send them photos of our progress and the configuration to approve as we went along.
What we Did
We removed their existing whirlpool and re-configured the space to allow for a new walk-in shower that had multiple showerheads, a heated tile seat, wall jets, and more. This was a complete bath remodel to that removed their existing cabinetry and replaced it with open-shelving that was easier for the customer to access. Final touches included a new Toto comfort height toilet and Grohe shower faucets.
Interesting part of the story – take a look at the photos mid-construction. You’ll see Dan in the corner of the shower we designed. We thought it would be too small even for an average size guy. Our customer agreed so as you look thru the photos, you’ll see that we changed the layout of the shower to accommodate a little more room. A success for remote construction and a happy customer to boot!
